#Endsars

Nigeria’s VP Yemi Osinbajo has sent a message of condolence to protesters and security agents who lost their lives during the #EndSARS protests in Lagos and other cities.

He said he has spoken to a number of surviving victims who are in pains at various hospitals.

VP Osinbajo added that “the pain of these terrible events is palpable in our towns and cities, and some losses are irreplaceable.

He is hopeful that justice will be served anyone found culpable and believes Nigeria will not live these ties again.

According to him:

“My heart goes out to all the victims of the Lekki shootings, and also the policemen and all other men and women who lost their lives in the past few days in different parts of Lagos & other states.

“I spoke to some of those in hospital. The pain of these terrible events is palpable in our towns and cities, and some losses are irreplaceable, but we can and will get justice for all of them. I stand with Lagos & all other affected states in these trying times.

“We pray we will never see a repeat of these tragedies in Jesus name. God bless you all. – YO

Osinbajo’s apology did not go down well with many youths who believe that the administration he presides over with President Muhammadu Buhari has failed the country:
