Ex-Senator Shehu Sani who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District narrowly escaped death when bandits opened fire on the Abuja-Kaduna train he boarded.

He said that explosives were also planted on the railway at the time he boarded the train.

The update was given by the former senator in a Tweet on Thursday where he disclosed that it “took a miracle” for him and other passengers to escape being killed.

He said that the bandits opened fire on a train on Wednesday night.

According to Senator Shehu Sani@ShehuSaniยทYesterday,terrorists attacked the Kaduna Abuja railway with an explosive & opened fire on the train,targeting the Engine Driver & the Tank.

This morning,I was on board when our train ran over another explosive damaged rail http://track.It took a miracle for us to escape.”
