The Officiating minister at the celebrity, star studded wedding of gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo and her groom, Pastor Blessed has given the reason she blasted in tongues as the newly wed kissed.
Pastor Mrs Zannie Odoko found it curious that some people berated her for her action. According to her, some critics said she spoilt the moment while others others said that she trivialised very session.
Stating her reason, the charismatic marriage counsellor regretted that, “Apparently they don’t understand.”
She noted that “some persons who understand Spiritual things appreciate it.
“Like I said …. Marriage is 100% Spiritual so is kissing & all that comes with it. God is a Spirit Being & He instituted marriage.
“Bonding of Spirit & Soul, mind & heart takes place in kissing & all that has to do with marriage.
“Check what psychologists say about sex & all parts of it.“
Notable for her role in mending troubled marriages and counselling aspiring couples, Zannie Odoko advised that: “We are also encouraged not to move around partners/sleep with several partners so much as we take on partners psychic, temperaments, emotional etc. rubs off on us in small or big measures.
“Speaking in tongues there for me was covering them, encouraging them, inviting The Holy Spirit to overshadow even this moment, taking Preeminence & helping them bond right.
“I normally encourage couples to serenade the atmosphere with Worship songs playing in the master bedroom, before, during & after sex.“
