Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited has denied claims that its Group Chief Executive Officer, Mele Kyari, has been sacked by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
On the backdrop of the suspension of the Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Godwin Emefiele on Friday, there were speculations on Saturday evening across the social media that Kyari has also been suspended.
However, Garba Deen Muhammad, the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPCL has told newsmen that the claim is untrue.
The Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele was on Friday, suspended from office. He was subsequently arrested by men of the Department of State Services (DSS) on Saturday.
