Family Fixes Date for Burial of Prophet TB Joshua

News - Women's Perspective

The family of the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet TB Joshua has fixed July 9, 2021 as date for his burial.

The late cleric died on the 6th of June after a brief illness. He was aged 57 and was billed to celebrate his 58th birthday a few days after his demise.

A member of the family told newsmen over the weekend that Joshua will be buried next month at the church premises in Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos.

He said the date was chosen after members of the immediate and extended families met at the premises of the deceased in Lagos, on Friday.

The representative of the families added that the wife, Evelyn and the children of the late Prophet prevailed on the other members over the burial date and place.

The burial ceremonies would span July 5 and July 9, 2021, he said.

In his words, “The extended family members, his (Joshua) wife and children held a meeting on Friday and it was decided that he should be buried in Lagos and the burial programme will be between July 5 and 9.

“It was on the instance of the wife and children that the other family members agree on the place of burial because they said they saw revelations that he should be buried in Lagos. Since they said it was spiritual, the family agreed with them.”
