Nigeria’s former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode on Monday shared pictures of his late brother Rotimi Fani-Kayode’s photographs with which his former wife Saratu Atta surprised him during her visit to New Tate in London, UK.

Fani-Kayode took to his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday to post the pictures taken by the late photographer, noting that Atta put a smile on his face by sending him the photos.

He described Rotimi as the “very best of us,” noting that he was proud of the photographer’s legacy.

“My beautiful erstwhile wife and the mother of my first daughter, Saratu Atta, was at the New Tate in London yesterday and sent me pictures of these wonderful works from my late brother Rotimi Fani-Kayode. She put a smile on my face this morning. 

“Rotimi was the very best of us and I am so proud of the great legacy he has established in the world of arts and photography. He was recently listed as one of the best and most influential photographers of the 20th century. May his beautiful soul continue to rest in peace. We love and miss you egbon mi,” he wrote.
