An Egyptian father has invited bees to sting his 7-year-old son who was accused of stealing.
The 34-year-old wicked father is said to have tied the child to a pole and covered him in honey to attract the bees.
He took the punitive measure after a neighbour reported that the son, Muhammed stole from him.
Th man whose name was not revealed is reported to have placed the son on the rooftop in anger after rubbing him with the honey.
The report did not give details of how long the little boy was left to the bees but he was covered with swarms of bees and mosquitoes. Sadly, he could not shake the insects off as he was also bound hand and feet to a log of wood.
The child’s heartbroken 29-year-old mother, unable to bear the punishment meted to her son, sought help from a child rescue group by sharing the disturbing pictures as evidence against her husband.
The man was subsequently arrested on Tuesday, 25th of May at a village in the region of Shebin El Qanater.
The woman has also moved out of the house to a different village following the physical battery she daily receives from him. She said that her husband always looks for excuses to torture their son.
An investigation into the allegations has been opened by prosecutors from the Egyptian governorate of Qaylubia.
