A father has taken to Facebook to narrate how he nearly crushed his baby who went playing silently under his car.
He described how his family was saved from what would have been a major tragedy when he was about to drive out of his garage unaware that the baby was under the car.
Hs instinct suddenly told him to stop the car ignition and look for his son who suddenly went silent.
He stepped out of his car to investigate only to find the toddler under the car close to the tyre.
The grateful father told members of the public that, “We really need to be careful around little ones.
“I Almost Crushed My Son With My Car But ‘Mercy Said No’.
“I was about to go but then I remembered that my son was playing and now is quiet. I decided to look for him first, then boom. He was under the car.
“Please lets be cautious when about to move a car especially in a house where kids are. You may never know. They can be underneath playing.
“Just take a minute to look under the car before you move it.”
in another development, a woman in the Ajah, Lekki axis of Victoria Island completely crushed her baby daughter who was equally playing under her car.
The horrified woman realised a drag on her tyre and steering wheel and stepped down to investigate only to find that she had crushed her baby.
Reports say that the toddler crawled outside while the nanny was cleaning the house.
After much weeping and wailing, she reported herself at the police station. The baby has since been buried.
