Fatima the daughter of the All Progressives Congress vice presidential candidate and former Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima, is set to wed her lover, Ibrahim Sadiq Bunu.
The wedding invitation which surfaced online indicates that Fatima and her groom will tie the knot on Saturday, 30th July 2022 in Maiduguri, the Borno State Capital.
Nigeria’s top political class, particularly the APC chieftains are expected to grace the occasion.
Kashim Shettima was nominated as the running mate of APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2023 election.
The appointment has remained a subject of discussion in the political space as many Nigerians have continued to object to the decision of the party to settle for a Muslim-Muslim ticket.
