The Minister of Transportation Mu’azu Sambo, has announced plans to recommence the Abuja-Kaduna rail service.
He aded that the rail route is to be subjected to 24-hour security surveillance to prevent any attack.
Terrorists attacked the rail service twice in 2022, the first had on board, a former Senator of Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani with other notable passengers.
The second attack was more deadly with at least 9 passengers killed, many injured and so many others kidnapped.
The Minister announced the rail service resumption in Abuja while giving the scorecard of the Ministry’s performance from 2015 till date.
