The Federal Government of Nigeria (FG) has listed personal items including seized bras, waist-trainers, various kinds of dresses and jewellery belonging to the former Minister of Petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke for auction.
The comprehensive list of items recovered from the ex-Minister include:
- 125 pieces of wedding gowns
- 13 pieces of small gowns
- 41 pieces of waist-trainers
- 73 pieces of hard flower
- 11 pieces of suits
- 11 pieces of invisible bras
- 73 pieces of veils
- 30 pieces of bras
- 2 pieces of standing fans
- 17 pieces of magic skits
- 6 packets of blankets
- 1 table blanket
- 64 pairs of shows
Bra worth $10 million
Other recovered properties are those belonging to the late Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh with houses in the Wuse 2 and Maitama top grade neighbourhoods.
They comprise No 14 Adzope Crescent, off Kumasi Crescent; 19 Kumasi Crescent, Wuse 2 and 6 Umme Street, Wuse 2.
The FG had, commenced last week, the process of screening 613 independent valuers expected to manage the sale of the assets alleged to have been illegally acquired, but later permanently forfeited to it in about 25 locations across the country.
The total number of properties marked for auction across the country is 1,620 including cars, houses, phones, laptops, vessels and other valuables.

Lagos is reported to have the highest number of properties to be auctioned including 31 houses and 589 vehicles.
Diezani who was Minister under former President Goodluck Jonathan has been in the UK since 2015, refusing to return to Nigeria ever since.
Chairman, EFCC, Abdulrasheed Bawa stated before the House of Representatives in May that jewellery worth N14 billion were seized from Diezani.
