#KankaraBoys are freed at Tsafe (82.5km via road) from Kankara town in Katsina state were they were abducted in Katsina state 344 of them.

Parents who have been keeping vigil for their sons within the school premises can finally heave a sigh of relief.

Governor Masari told NTA that the boys are on their way to Katsina and will undergo medical examinations before handing them over to their parents.

He added that all school fences in the state will be worked on.

Masari said that he is sure no student was harmed because he had advised security agents to ensure that no shot is fired.

This according to him is to ensure that the safety of the children is not compromised.
