A fire outbreak has occurred at a section of the Port Harcourt refinery in Rivers State.
The incident which happened on Wednesday at about 3:45pm has been trending on social media.

The National President of Petroleum Retailers Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria, Billy Gillis-Harry is alleged to have confirmed the accident.
According to him, the fire was contained in less than 5 minutes after it broke out.
“Yes, it is true that there was a fire outbreak in the Port Harcourt refinery, but it was contained in 5 minutes,” Gillis-Harry told newsmen.
This comes hours after two explosions hit pipeline Manifold and Trans-Niger Pipeline in the Omwawriwa axis of the Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local and Bodo-Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Recall that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, citing unresolved crisis and insecurity in Rivers, declared a state of emergency in Rivers State.
