Mrs Tinubu said it is time to “take out” those behind the kidnapping of school students, stressing that enough is enough.

We had reported that terrorists, on Thursday morning, stormed LGEA Primary School, Kuriga (1), Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State and kidnapped about 285 pupils and teachers.

It was gathered that the incident happened at about 8:20 am immediately after the morning assembly.

Reacting, the First Lady urged state governors and lawmakers to ensure stiffer sanctions to curb the menace of abducting school pupils.

Addressing journalists on Friday, Mrs Tinubu said:

Whoever is kidnapping young people is sick and a coward, enough is enough. I call on the state government that once we take hold of them it’s capital punishment.

“Why don’t they take people their size? Why are they torturing our children? We all know parents rely on children when we are old and as a former lawmaker, I believe anyone of them captured should be subjected to capital punishment, enough is enough.

“They are animals, evil, and we should take them out from wherever they come from. The governors and lawmakers should do something.”
