It is yet another win for Nigeria’s Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala as she got honoured by Forbes Africa.
Yesterday, the prestigious group named her CNBC 2020 African Woman of the Year.
Excited abut the honour, the renowned economic expert said she is dedicating the award to “fellow Africans suffering the health and economic impact of covid19.”
Talking about what sets wind to her sail, the respected former Managing Director, Operations of the World Bank said that “The energy and resilience of Africans inspires me !”
In her signature humility, she recognised Africans that have been equally honoured by @forbesafrica before her.
They include Paul Kegame and Akin Adesina.
