The founder of the defunct Diamond Bank, Pascal Gabriel Dozie is D3ad.
According to family sources, the veteran banker passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, April 8, 2025, just one day before his 86th birthday.
He is said have battled an age-related illness.
Dozie was widely recognized as the founder of Diamond Bank, one of Nigeria’s most innovative financial institutions, which later merged with Access Bank. He served as the bank’s chairman until he handed over the leadership to his son, Uzoma Dozie.
