Former Minister of Water Resources, Sarah Ochekpe gas been jailed for 3 months over money laundry and criminal conspiracy.
The Federal High Court, Jos Division sentenced the former Minister and 2 others after finding them guilty on Tuesday.
Among those jailed with her are a former Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State, Raymond Dabo, and Evangelist Leo Sunday Jitung.
The judgment was delivered by Justice Musa Kurna.
The three accused persons had been standing trial for the past four years on charges bordering on conspiracy and money laundering.
Sarah Reng Ochekpe is a Nigerian Politician from Plateau State. She was the Minister of Water Resources from 2011 to 2015.
