The immediate past Nigerian ambassador to Kenya, Ambassador Yusuf Yunusa, has d!ed. He was aged 73.
He is said to have d!ed at the Yobe University Teaching Hospital, Damaturu, on Friday after a brief illness.
Governor Mai Mala Buni, represented by Secretary to the State Government, Baba Malam Wali, was among dozens of dignitaries of who attended the funeral prayers of the late ambassador which was led by the Chief Imam of Nguru Emirate, Imam Shehu Goni Abba.
Buni described the deceased as an elder statesman, dedicated, honest and seasoned civil servant and technocrat per excellence, who lived a selfless life.
