Naomi Silekunola, the estranged queen of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, and the monarch, during the weekend, met at a public event for the first time after their marriage crashed in 2021.
The former queen of Ife kingdom left the monarch in December 2021 and announced the breakup of the union in a post shared on her Instagram page.
However, the Ooni moved to replace Naomi with six wives, and the prophetess neither hinted at returning to the palace nor giving love a second chance.
During the weekend, the Ooni held the grand opening of Ojaja Park in Akure and Naomi, alongside their son, Prince Tadenikawo Ogunwusi, were seen at the event.
Two of the queens who succeeded Naomi were also at the event.
