The funeral rites for the late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu has been scheduled for Saturday, June 25, 2022, in Abia State.
Famed for her hit song, ‘Ekwueme,’ Osinachi died on April 8, 2022 in the intensive care unit of an Abuja hospital.
Her death was met with widespread allegations by her family, and colleagues that she was serially battered to death by her husband, Peter Nwachukwu, who is currently on trial.
The husband continues to insist he had no hand in her death saying she died of lung cancer.
Announcement on her obituary poster indicates that a night of worship will hold in Abuja on Thursday, June 23 while a Night of Prayer will hold in Isochi, Umunochi in Abia state on June 24.
She will be buried in her father’s compound on Saturday, June 25.
