Ganduje’s Wife Shuns EFCC Invitation, Attends Son’s Graduation in UK (photos)

The wife of the the Governor of Kano State, Hafsat Ganduje has ignored an invitation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and proceeded to the UK to attend the graduation of one of her sons.

EFCC had invited the Kano First Lady over an alleged land fraud brought before the anti-graft agency by her eldest son, Abdulazeez.

The developer paid him some hundreds of dollars and at least N35 million commission.

Abdulazeez is said to have paid the money to his mother, Hafzat.

According to the source, “Three months later, (the property developer) discovered that the plots of land he wanted and had paid the first family for had been allocated to other buyers and he then requested to be refunded.”

Notwithstanding, by Tuesday, pictures of the First Lady with her husband and other children emerged showing celebration of the graduation of her youngest son.

The spokesperson to governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Abubakar Ibrahim announced the London trip and posted the pictures of the ceremony on his social media pages.

Ibrahim also posted photos of members of the Ganduje family attending the graduation on Facebook.

According to Abubakar Aminu Ibrahim, “Alhamdulillah.Muhammad Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, Today (September 14) graduated from the Regent’s University London as BA. (Hons). Global Management (Enterprise & Innovation).
