A UK-based Nigerian psychologist and member of the British Psychological Society, Oyinkansola Alabi has expressed worries at the rate at which gays in Nigeria are getting married to straight people.
Popularly known as the ‘Emotions Doctor,’ Ms Alabi shared her views via her social media pages on Sunday, the 26th of September.
She wondered why a gay person would decieve an unsuspecting partner into marriage, describing it as an unkind move.
According to Oyinkansola Alabi, “I am concerned about the number of gays and pansexuals in Nigeria getting married to straight people.I am aware of cultural and religious values.I am also aware that it’s unkind to deceive someone into marriage.So what’s the way forward?“

my_psychologist_clinic People should be genuinely sincere about their sexualilty and if they are confused they should seek help. I have taught several undergraduate students in human sexuality course and I keep telling them how much they need to be truthful about their sexual orientation but some will even open up to me that they are just curious about being a guy.
