Ghana is the the first African country to take delivery the covid10 vaccine (#COVAX).
The announcement was made this evening by the newly appointed Director General of the World Trade Organisation (DG-WTO), Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.
She announced that she is very happy to see the first delivery of #COVAX and said she is excited that Nigeria’s batch is on its way.
Okonjo-Iweala added that the vaccine must not encounter trade restrictions or delays.
In a post on her confirmed Twitter handle, she said that

GAVI, for which she is a board chair also expressed thair joy at the delivery:
