The Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Gokada, Fahim Saleh has been murdered in his apartment in Manhattan, New York.
The ride hailing company’s CEO is reported to have been decapitated and dismembered and his remains found in his Lower East Side, Manhattan apartment on Tuesday afternoon.
Saleh’s dismembered torso was discovered in his Manhattan condo, Tuesday with an electric saw beside his corpse.
His dog, Laila, was discovered alive in the house.
Gokada confirmed Saleh’s death in a series of Tweets on his twitter handle on Wednesday, 15th July. The company staff describe their murdered boss as a great leader and a positive light for all of them.

“We are deeply deeply saddened to inform you about the sudden and tragic loss of our founder and CEO, Fahim Saleh. Fahim was a great leader, inspiration and positive light for us all.
“We at Gokada are shocked and saddened to hear that Fahim Saleh, our founder and CEO, passed away under tragic circumstances in New York earlier this week.
“Our hearts go out to his friends, family and all those feeling the pain and heath break we are currently experiencing here at Gokada.
“Fahim’s vision and belief in us will be with us forever, and we will miss him dearly.
“Thank you for understanding as we go through this.”

New York Police Department (NYPD) says that contractor bags were found close to his torso. At the time of the report, the bags had not been been opened to see if the body parts were stuffed inside.
Detectives will be working with forensic and fingerprint experts on the body and entire apartment.
