A grandchild has been born to Nigeria’s Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and wife Dolapo.
The baby boy was delivered in the early hours of today by his daughter, Damilola and husband, Seun Shagaya.
Mrs Osinbajo shared the cheering news on her instagram page.
According to her:
The Vice President himself could not also hide his joy as he announced the arrival of his first grandchild:
“All glory to God, I am now a grand-dad!
“I am now a grand dad ! My daughter, Oludamilola & her husband Oluseun became parents to a wonderful baby boy this morning!“
Seun is the son of billionaire, Bola Shagaya. He got married to Damilola in March 2018 in a low-key ceremony at these Rock Presidential Vila.
Yemi Osinbajo insisted on the moderate wedding considering the mood of the nation at that time.
He is reported to have also warned guests not to spray money at the couple.
Friends of the family say he made the decision following the backlash that trailed the lavish wedding of the children of Governors Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State and late Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State.
The new born baby boy is the first grandchild for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Wife Dolapo.
