A video has captured the moment some Nigerian police officers assaulted a young man who allegedly, could not give them N100 bribe in Delta State.
Reports say the man was stopped at the check point by the officers but refused to give them the usual N100 naira pass fee.
The officers were reported to have collected his vehicle documents as well as his car plate numbers.
When the young man approached them to request that they give the items back to him, it infuriated the armed policemen who brutally attacked him.
One of the officers could be seen in the video pulling out a dagger from its scabbard, threatening to end his life.
Another immediately came at the young man, hitting him with sticks, drawing more officers to descend on the young man.
Passersby and other motorist who appeared to be afraid to interfere stared on helplessly.
