The Nigeria Immigration Service Head Office situated at the Ubakala area of Enugu/Port Harcourt Expressway, Abia State has been attacked by unknown gunmen.

This comes a few hours after the State Criminal Investigation Department office of the Abia State Police Command was also burn down by unknown gunmen.

A resident of the community who spoke on conditions of anonymity said there was a heavy gun battle between the gunmen and security operatives through the night.

The shootings caused panic in the area as residents spent the night in fear.
