Protesters have blocked the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway causing massive traffic build-up on the ever busy highway.
A commuter who got as far as Enyo petrol station inward Kara Bridge said she was stopped and questioned by the protesters.
She added that she was forced to collect a flyer bearing: “Questions for the politicians and religious leaders. What is the future of Nigeria ?“
The flyer added that: “Highways in Nigeria will be block. No movement nationwide.”
When she hesitated further, they stuck it to her car as she managed to manoeuvre out of the scene.
The protest has been largely peaceful in spite of the several burn fires set up on the highway.
School children and passersby were also seen watching activities as the protesters urger the eyewitness to take as much videos as she liked.
The protest is coming barely 24 hours after a controversial sermon by the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E A Adeboye.
