A Nigerian mother has been sharing the harrowing story of how her son was serially abused at the Deeper Life High School, Uyo Akwa Ibom State.
The heartbroken mother, Deborah Okezie’s interview with her son went viral after she lamented how her son left home chubby only to land in hospital completely malnourished and skinny.
According to the 11-year-old son, Don-Davies, he was allegedly forced to starve for days, beaten for bedwetting and sent off to a hostel for senior boys by the Principal, Ndidi where he was also serially sexually abused.
Mrs Okezie added that she started having nightmares about her son and decided to pay him a visit but curiously, the school authorities denied her access to him.
She was later to learn that he had been subjected to multiple forms of abuse just because he is not a Deeper Life Church Member.
According to her, he only spent 2 months in school and that was his very first time to leave home and family.
She added that Don-Davies was scared to open up to her as he had been threatened with death if he ever mentioned what he was going through even to his mum.
Mrs Okezie laments that it is heartbreaking to cough out more than half a million Naira in spite of the economic hardship brought on by covid19 to send a child to a torture camp.
She displayed pictures of chubby 10-year-old Don-Davies whom she said weighed 60kg at the time of going to school but now weighs 45kg.

The Principal, teachers and Commissioner for Education, according to Deborah Okezie, bullied her to delete all her social media posts on the matter as it was an indictment on their offices.
According to her, the teachers made to beat her up and break her phone but for her husband’s aggressive intervention.
This followed the State Governor’s order that the case be investigated.
