‘How My Drunk Husband and 9 Friends Raped Me and Left Me for Dead’ – Housewife Laments

A Kenyan housewife, identified as Bernice has recounted how her husband and his 9 friends, all drunk, raped her so bad and left her for dead.

She also lamented what she suffered in his hands as frequently brought stage women to their house and slept with them and herself at the same time.

Benice said that the most recent ordeal was when he brought 9 men home and told them to sleep with her in turns.

Born and raised in Gatundu, after completing her primary education Benice could not proceed to the secondary school due to poverty. She then joined her mother at a commercial farm, picking tea.

Speaking further, she said she was 13 years old she when she met a guy who claimed to love her. She was so naive that she bought into his narrative and moved in with him.

They later relocated to Naivasha where he introduced her to his parents. They were given a house at an isolated location where there were no neighbours.

She said her husband worked at construction sites. One day he returned home and started smoking bhang, a hard drug in the house. He disclosed that it was his lifestyle and ordered her to get used to it.

He soon changed, started taking excessive alcohol and began bringing home multiple women at the same time where he slept with them in turns.

He would also force her to sleep with her backside. She informed his mother to warn him but he remained resolute.

One day her husband and father of their 3 children informed her that they were going to have 9 visitors that night.

He bought lot of food items and asked her to prepare a meal. He also bought her a white short dress and told her to wear it that night.

He ordered her to take the kids to his mother’s house.

The visitors arrived, each carrying alcohol, She served them the food and after they finished, she went into the bedroom where they were drinking and smoking bhang.

Her husband called her and pushed her on the couch, he slept with her infront of the 9 men.

He beckoned on the next man to continue and all the 9 men raped her and left her unconscious. They thought she was dead and left the door open. She regained consciousness at about 4:00 am, staggered to her phone and called her mother.

She narrated her ordeal and pleaded to the older woman and begged her not to report him since he was the sole breadwinner in his home and his mother’s home.

She stayed on for 3 weeks and he didn’t return. When she got healed she moved out went to another town and rented a small house with her kids.

Benice called on women to quit toxic marriages.
