Accra-based United Television has reported the death of a taxi driver in Kasoa, located in the Central Region of Ghana. The incident occurred shortly after the driver, whose identity remains undisclosed, checked into a hotel despite a prior altercation with his wife, who had urged him to stay home.
According to the report, the driver was excited about meeting a woman he had been financially pursuing for some time. Ignoring his wife’s pleas, he locked her and their child at home before leaving for One Happy Hotel.
Prior to his departure, he boasted to his fellow taxi drivers about his plans with the woman, mentioning that he had taken aphrodisiacs to enhance his performance.
Shortly after checking into the hotel, the driver reportedly experienced severe breathing difficulties. The woman, panicked by the situation, contacted the hotel manager, who then arranged for the driver to be transported to a hospital. Despite receiving medical attention, the driver passed away shortly after his admission.
The sudden d3ath has raised concerns and sparked discussions about the use of performance-enhancing substances and their potential health risks.
