Nollywood actress, Sotonye Dublin-Green is reported to have died from neglect at the #COVID19 isolation centre located in the Infectious Diseases Centre Yaba.
Her friend, Debbie King shared horrific details about how patients were neglected and only attended to if they had money to part with.
The text messages shared with Debbie by Sotonye reveal that patients paid the health workers to get their attention.
They begged for practically everything including oxygen and syringes. There was also no one to assist very sick patients take a bath or get to the toilet.
In addition, Sotonye complained that “we hardly see the nurses talk less of doctors”
According to Debbie, Sotonye died on Monday, 11th January from neglect.
Mourning the passing of her friend, Debbie wrote that “I never thought I would be saying goodbye so soon. Rest in peace my bestie. May God forgive all your sins and accept your soul into paradise in Jesus name…Amen. #covidtookyouawayfromus”
