Human Rights Abuses: Mr Macaroni Calls Out Nigeria Police Force

Instagram Comedian, Debo Adebayo popularly known as Mr Macaroni is seen in a video as he calls out the Nigerian Police over continued human rights abuses in spite of the #EndSARS protests which took place in October 2020.

He took the action after a viral video showing continued police brutality against civilians surfaced.

In his reaction via his Twitter handle, he insisted that the police are evil and heartless in view of the inhuman treatment they subject harmless members of the public to.

According to him, “The Nigerian Police Force @PoliceNG is a big disgrace!! Shameless and disgraceful lots!! Look at how you are treating Nigerians!! If you see armed robbers now, you will pick race!! Evil, wicked, cruel and heartless people!! Shame on all of you!!!!!!!!!!”

The Nigeria police responded by requesting details of the victims that were brutalised in the video.

The POLICE COMPLAINT@PoliceNG_CRU responded by asking, “Dear @mrmacaronii Kindly avail this unit the details of the victim/victims involved, know that justice will take its full cause, thank you for contacting NPF-CRU. #NoToImpunity#NPFCares

Mr Macaroni insisted that the police should not patronise him but rather, discipline officers who manhandled him when a was arrested for protesting against planned reopening of the Lekki Toll Plaza.
