Popular Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw and her colleague, Okey Bakassi have been called out for hosting the fundraising dinner of Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma.
The governor is seeking re-election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), held a fundraising dinner on Thursday, the same day the Supreme Court affirmed President Bola Tinubu as the winner of the 2023 election and dismissed the appeals of his major contenders Peter Obi of Labour Party and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Considering how many Nigerians have frowned at the apex court verdict, many deemed it surprising to see Kate Henshaw and Okey Bakasssi, supporters of LP, host such an event for the ruling party.
Both entertainers have been called names since the event with some blaming hardship for the decision of the duo.
