The former People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftain, Femi Fani-Kayode who recently defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has pledged allegiance to the party and promised to take on any role offered him.
The newest member of the APC specifically said he is willing to assist the party in the North-Central zone. He used the occasion to thank the Governors who paved his way for his return to the party he initially dumped.
According to him, “It is a great honour that I could be accepted into the party in the first first place, in the way which I was accepted was quite unprecedented and I do not take it for granted. I acknowledge the role of people like the governor of Kogi State, people like Matawalle of Zamfara, so many governors who paved the way, and of course even the president who was very gracious.
He declared that he is willing and ready to take whatever role, not just in the FCT, but anywhere especially in the North Central.
In his words, “I am here to help with whatever I can do for the party, not just in the FCT, but whatever I can do for the party throughout the North Central zone. I will thread with caution, I have a lot to learn. I is an honour and privilege to receive you.

“It was an honor and a privilege to receive my old friend and brother Chief Lai Oriowo in my Abuja home for dinner on Tuesday evening.
“Lai is a former Director of Nigerian Air Management Agency when I was Minister of Aviation and he is one of the most insighful and experienced hands in the Aviation sector.
“He is also a politician of note. We had a superlative dinner and a wonderful time talking about the future of our country and the old days.
“Thanks for coming my brother. You made my day. God bless and be with you and yours now and always.“
