President Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday, 1st of October, bragged that he has done better in 6 six years than any of his predecessors since 1999
He made the revelation during his Independence Day speech in the early hours of the day.
Buhari was democratically elected in 2015 and re-elected in 2019. Before him were the three other elected presidents since the country’s return to democracy in 1999.
His predecessors were Dr Goodluck Jonathan, Alhaji Umar Musa Yar’Adua and Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.

He added that he performed exceptionally well in spite of the meagre resources at his disposal insisting that he will not relent in his efforts.
According to him, “Since coming to power, this administration has tackled our problems head-on in spite of the meagre resources.
“No government since 1999 has done what we have done in six years to put Nigeria back on track.
“We shall continue to serve the country, listen to all and protect our democracy and country.”
