One of the estranged wives of the Alaafin of Oyo, Queen Badirat Ola has taken to social media to reveal she has so many stories to tell but would reserve them for another day.
She stated this when she shared an emotional tribute to her mother as she celebrated the elderly woman’s birthday yesterday, June 15.
Queen Ola, on Instagram, shared a photo of her beautiful mother accompanied by a tribute acknowledging her mother’s efforts in her life.
She recalled her mother’s indispensable efforts in making her who she is today. She appreciated what her mother did even if they disagreed on many occasions.
queen Ola showered prayers on her mother as she expressed her desire to give her the very best of life.
She wrote: “Iyami Arike.I have so many epistle to write, many stories to tell, many words to put together but not today. I just want to say thank you for everything you have done even though sometimes we don’t agree but I love you from the dept of my heart.
“You know I’m working very hard to give us the best life we want and I promise you I won’t give up. I’m just pleading to Allah to answer my prayers soon and spare your life for me so I can do everything you deserve for you. I love you so much mum. Almighty Allah will bless your new age and answer all your prayers. Happy Birthday mum.“
The gorgeous ex-wife of Late Alaafin of Oyo, Queen Ola confirmed her divorce with the monarch after trolls on the internet questioned why she did not mark the late monarch’s 82nd birthday.
She was trolled repeatedly by controversial blogs for allegedly having a relationship with married men.
An Instagram blogger, Cutie, called out Queen Ola for allegedly making friends with people’s husbands and linking up with them outside the country.
The blogger also claimed to have terminated her appointment with a married man in Spain.
Cutie wrote: Dear Queen Ola @queenola2 , please respect the crown. Stop making best friends with people’s husbands and arranging to meet them abroad
