A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Bode George has revealed that he is not privy to the decision to pick Nollywood star, Funke Akindele (Jenifa) as running mate to Jandor and deputy governorship candidate for Lagos State.
He explained that it was the party’s governorship candidate, Olajide Adeniran popularly called Jandor who picked her.
Speaking further, George said the emergence of Funke Akindele is a breach of agreement and there’s a need to set the records straight for future references.
He explained that Jandor was expected to pick Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour as his running mate based on initial agreement and not Funke Akindele.
The PDP chieftain bared his mind during a chat with News Central in which he denied being the one behind Rhodes-Vivour’s decision to join the Labour Party (LP).
