Nigeria’s former Minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka has bared his mind about the controversy arising from the oral deposition the registrar of Chicago State University, Caleb Westberg regarding the certificate President Bola Tinubu is believed to have received from the University.

Speaking during an interview with Arise News, Osita Chidoka noted that he followed the deposition very closely and he was disappointed when he realized that the university disclosed they didn’t issue the certificate the President submitted to INEC.

He however noted that with the way things have turned out, it would have been better if President Bola Tinubu had admitted that he does not have access to his certificate but he can provide a transcript instead.

“I followed the deposition very closely and I was alarmed, I was disappointed that the certificate that was issued to INEC was disowned by Chicago State University.

“If President Tinubu knew that this certificate did not come from Chicago State University, maybe there will have been opportunity for him to come clean to the country and said, I’ve been a Governor, I’ve worked in the corporate sector, I don’t know where my certificate is, but I have a transcript,” he said.
