Multiple award-winning actress Funke Akindele was all teary as her Amen Estate co-residents stormed her gate to celebrate her following her massive win at the 8th edition of the AMVCA.
Funke Akindele who got nine nominations at the recent Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award went home with five awards.
In the video shared on her Instagram page, her co-residents were seen jubilating, singing and praising the actress for her successes.
Funke Akindele who seemed emotional over the kind gesture expressed appreciation to them saying the love shown to her means a lot.
She added that she “wasn’t expecting” the generous show of love added that she felt honoured and that all glory belongs to “GOD for the continuous blessings and victory.”
According to the mother of twin boys, Funke Akindele “awww this is so emotional!! Thank you my #Amenestatefamily @amen_estate_lagos I feel so honoured and loved. See as I Dey shine teeth. All glory to God for the continuous blessings and victory. Thank you guys for always having my back. I love you all. Now back to work!!!”
