I Will Forever Miss You - Florence Ajimobi Writes Late Husband

Today would have been the 71st birthday of Late Senator Abiola Ajimobi. Regardless, wife, Florence sends him a posthumous message.

In an emotion-laden goodwill message, reminiscent of a widow remembering the good times spent with her husband, she tells him that she will forever miss him.

Mrs Ajimobi recalls how precisely one year ago, she gathered her children to celebrate his 70th birthday not minding that he hates to be the centre of attraction.

She thanked him for the privilege of being his wife and the mother of his children.

Florence Ajimobi regrets that “Today should have been another milestone in your life as you mark another another birthday.

“But unlike the last 40 years, that we have celebrated your birthday together, you will not be here to celebrate with me, your children and grandchildren.”

Mrs Ajimobi takes “solace in the fact that your spirit lives on in the the lives you have touched in your good deeds and impactful legacies.”

As if actually seeing him, she laments to him that the last 6 months since he has been gone have not been easy for the entire family.

She consoles herself with the lovely memories she holds dear even if life has become very painful without him.
