There was chaos among the Igbo community in the United States of America after their cultural event was abruptly shut down.

According to the attendees, the organizers of the event being held by the Mbaise community paid a sum of over $92,000 for the hall.

However, the Texas hotel management invited the police after the event started at Westin Hotel in Irvine, Texas and the food was served and consumed. The management ordered that it be shut down without giving his reason.

According to a source, “This is an embarrassing situation for the people of Mbaise and Nigeria as a whole. The manager of Westin Hotel Irvine Texas just shut down an Mbaise convention while the event is on going.. We stand with Ndi Igbo home and abroad… let’s build our country… We can do it. Stop being humiliated and rejected home and abroad”
