The Special Adviser for Drainage and Water Resources to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, Joe Igbokwe has called the attention of Arise TV host, Rufai Oseni to the fact that he is inciting the Igbos with his comments and news analysis.
Speaking via his official Facebook page, Igbokwe stated that anybody who knows Rufai Oseni working with Arise TV should tell him to stop inciting the Igbos.
He argued that the Igbos have gone through many ordeals ranging from tragedies, bloodshed and being displaced from their homes.
He insisted that Oseni was getting out of hand and should be called to order.
A few days ago, Rufai had commented after the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma said the Igbos should forget about the 2023 presidency until they find peace with Nigeria.
Condemning Uzodinma’s statement, Oseni argued that it was unfair to say that Igbo man has no right to the presidency despite the things they have been thorough.
He said: “We should also remind him that his kinsmen died in the civil war. And if he says his kinsmen who died in the civil war have no right to Presidency, their death was a big waste.
“We forget that railways have been done in some parts of the country but none has been done in Igboland. We forget that it has taken over 40yrs to complete the second Niger bridge. The Governor should be careful about what he says about his own people”.
