The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has announced another sit-at-home order.
The group fixed the 14th of September to remember those allegedly killed in Afarukwu, Abia State in 2018 by Nigerian Soldiers.
IPOB accused soldiers of desecrating the traditional stool of Afaraukwu with the killings.
The press release made available to newsmen on Tuesday. The new order was given by the Head of IPOB’s DOS, Chika Edozien.
He said that the September 14 date has been tagged ‘day of civil disobedience.
Edozien used the occasion to reemphasise the commitment of IPOB to ensuring the actualisation of the sovereign state of Biafra.
