Singer, Akon has disclosed that “it broke my heart” when the PSquare twins parted ways.
The Senegalese-American singer revealed this during an interview with Channels Television on the sidelines of the Dubai Expo 2020.
He described the twin brothers as family and stated that their separation may have been as a result of career pressures and their relationships.
According to Akon, “It broke my heart because we are family. These are brothers and they shared the same womb and I always felt money should not get in between them.
He added that, “it is being together that made them who they were. But sometimes you have differences between people from the same family and there are other aspects of it – There is pressure in the music business, there is a lot of pressure in relationships.”
