It’s Pastor Ituah Ighodalo’s birthday today !

P. I. as he is fondly called by his congregation is the Senior Pastor of Trinity House, an interdenominational Christian fellowship assembly.

Ituah is an accomplished businessman and accountant that sits on the board of countless Nigerian companies.

A Chartered Accountant and a Tax Consultant with many professional certifications, Ituah Ighodalo is a senior Partner at Nigeria’s famous independent professional services firm, S.I.A.O.

S.I.A.O. specialises in Audit Assurance, Accounting, International Financial Reporting Standards Advisory, Tax, Human Resource Consulting and Financial Advisory.

Ituah Ighodalo’s professional profile:

Ituah Ighodalo founded Ighodalo & Co in 1987. He is an Associate, Nigerian Institute of Management (ANIM) (1992) and the American Institute of Management (1993).

A 1981 graduate of Economics and Accounting from the University of Hull, U.K., Pastor Ighodalo trained and qualified as a professional with the firm of Price Waterhouse Coopers in 1986.

He is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (1994) and the Nigeria Institute of Taxation (2000). As former Managing Partner, Ighodalo & Co, he brings to the firm 20 years of experience in Auditing, Accounting, Taxation, Human Resources and Financial Advisory Services. A down-to-earth, compassionate personality by all standards, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo has a natural unassuming and calm ambiance considering his accomplishments. 

His long list of NGOs keeps everyone wondering how he is able to juggle his professional, family and pastoral life. One also wonders how he is also able to cope with the financial demands of his spiritual and social calling.

Ituah Ighodalo knows every member of his large local and international congregation by name. He is famed to intermittently enquire about and even visit everyone them to their amazement. Celebrations or challenges of each member of his church is taken personal as he identifies with all of them irrespective of social status. 

 Born in 1961 at Ibadan, Ituah is the son of Late Pa Jeremiah Ighodalo, a retired and accomplished civil servant. He is also son to Nigeria’s first female Permanent Secretary, Mrs Folayegbe Ighodalo.

Both parent’s names never cease to ring a bell any time Ituah’s name is mentioned. 

Most of his childhood memories revolve around Ibadan, Kings College, Lagos and England where he attended the University of Hull.

Ituah is married to one of Nigeria’s most beautiful ladies, Ibiduni Ighodalo. Ibiduni is a celebrity events personality and accomplished business woman. Equally unassuming and soft spoken, Ibiduni was a model and a beauty queen. They are blessed with 2 lovely children.

Ituah’s friends across the world as well his church members from branches in Nigeria and overseas have inundated him with well wishes going by his social media handles and that of his church.

Ibiduni Ighodalo has a tradition of not letting her husband’s pass without something to remember even when she operates from anonymously.

Unfortunately, this year, she could repeat her tradition due to the lockdown directive by the state and federal governments. 

However, most of the online fanfare we see today are not beyond what is expected of her.

While Trinity House, friends and family celebrate Ituah Ighodalo’s birthday, he simply took to enjoining them to pray for their families, domestic help, and everyone and everything affiliated with them.
