The General Overseer of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo has spoken up about an alleged leaked audio between him and the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi discussing about campaigning for the politician.
The audio, purportedly captured both leaders discussing the mobilisation of Christians in Kwara and South-West states to vote for him (Obi).
The respected cleric said on Sunday that he never campaigned for any politician or spoken on their behalf in the build-up to the 2023 general elections in the country.
Oyedepo, while indirectly referring to the alleged leaked phone conversation between him and Obi, said he never spoke to any group of people on behalf of any politician.
He stressed that he offers every politician that visits him, some of them take his advise, others ignore it. Oyedepo stressed that he will not speak on any of the politician’s behalf until he gets to heaven.
