JAMB Gives Condition for Direct Entry Admission Processing

JAMB Postpones 2021 UTME Mock Examination

News - Women's Perspective

The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has announced the postponement of the 2021 Unified Tertiary Examination Examination (UTME) mock examination.

The examimantion was initially scheduled to hold on Saturday, 30th April but has been moved to Thursday, 20th May, 2021.

The Head, Public Relations for the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board, Fabian Benjamin explained that the change of date was to allow for the smooth completion of adjustments in the operational processes.

According to Benjamin, the 2021 UTME/DE registration exercise is still ongoing and will end on the 15th of May, 2021.

He noted that the board is concerned that some candidates were sending their details wrongly to 55019 when trying to generate their profiles.

Fabian Benjamin advised that, “The right process is to send the word “NIN” allow one space in between, then insert the eleven digit NIN to 55019, eg NIN 00000000000

“Any other process is wrong and would not generate the profile code for the candidate. It is also necessary for the candidate to know that only the SIM that is linked to his/her NIN can be used to send the NIN to 55019.”
