A video has captured the moment a lady who was jilted by her lover downed a sachet of bleach to end her heartbreak.

The lady who could not fathom seeing her boyfriend with another woman decided to take the extreme action by drinking the substance considered extremely poisonous to the human body.

The clip which surfaced online shows the unkempt lady watching out to see if anybody is within the vicinity to stop her. Certain she was alone, she drank the liquid as she video-taped herself.

Sharing the video, she wondered how people feel after they have caused someone pain by breaking their hearts.
