A 2-storey building has just collapsed in the Orile Iganmu area of Lagos State.
The incident happened on Monday morning, sparking panic among residents and passers by who fled the scene.
In the video shared online, the building which was obviously very old and fragile, suddenly crumbled leaving people around scampering to safety.
Head of the Public Affairs Unit of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Nosa Okunbor, confirmed the incident saying that emergency responders had been dispatched to the scene.
He said, “People are there right now; I will get back to you.”
Meanwhile, no casualties have been confirmed as of the time of filing this report.
